Sometimes I'm amazed at the truth or the relevance behind a phrase that my children come up with. Just last evening we were trying to get ready for church, and clean up from dinner when Alyssa is chasing me around the house asking me for money to put in the offering for Jr. church. I'm all but ignoring her...putting her off...telling her, "Alyssa, go brush your hair." Then from her intelligent, wise beyond her years mind, she says, "Mom, what's more important, your looks or giving money to God?" "Ouch!" Needless to say, she got some offering.

That's a good one. I've been learning some lessons from my daughter as well. I definitely think God uses our kids to teach us quite a few things!
I am SO glad that I clicked on your name to visit your site. I'm lovin' your music. Toby Mac has a special place in our hearts, too; what a fun way to start the day!!
Anyway, I cracked up at your daughter's question; children can be incredible, prophetic, say-it-like-it-is people. 'Love 'em.
